I’ve been going to Firebird for years with various bands etc, but the current owners have moved the game on quite a bit. There’s good rooms, decent parking and an easy load in for even the heaviest of gear, but the food and drinks and other general facilities have been improved too. The booking process is a doddle as well, even while sat at your desk at work during the day, and there’s a Barclay Bank with a cashpoint machine just up the road for rehearsal funds. Hell Yeah!
